James Wilson (1955-2021)

Private family services for James Harold Wilson, 66, of Alba, were scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Interment followed in Turner Cemetery, Crow (Wood Co.).
Mr. Wilson passed away September 11, 2021, in Tyler. He was born August 3, 1955, in Wood Co., to James Herman & Bobbie Jean Ewing Wilson. James spent most of his life in Grand Saline and Alba. He graduated from Grand Saline High School, Class of 1973 and worked in the oil field as a drilling consultant. James raised White Tail Deer and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 1269. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Wilson; sister, Cindy Peden; and brother, David Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Wilson of Alba; mother, Bobbie Wilson of Alba; two sons, Matt Wilson of Canton and Tim Wilson (Bryanna) of Grand Saline; two daughters, Mandy Reeder (Eric) and Kim Wilson of Van; brother-in-law, Mike Peden of Grand Saline; thirteen grandchildren, Alex Faremouth, MacKenzie Wilson, Maddie Wilson, David Wilson, Leanna Wilson, Kara Wilson, Kelsey Wilson, Jake Wilson, Jonathan Reeder, Justin Reeder, Anna Reeder, Jameson Wilson, and Makenna Bre Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Bella & Kyle Reeder; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Mark Easley, Rod White, Timmy Koonce, Edward Koonce, Donny Koonce, Richard Russell, Randy Russell, and Eugene Parker.

The family received friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the funeral home.
