David Ray "Bean" Jones (1955-2018)

Services for Mr. David Ray "Bean" Jones, 62, of Fruitvale, were scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Herring and Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating.

Interment was held in Creagleville Cemetery.

Mr. Jones passed away June 21, 2018, at his home in Fruitvale. He was born December 17, 1955 in Dallas to Cecil Ray & Peggy Ann Gossett Jones. He worked for AutoZone and was a member of Riverside Mission Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother and best friend, Charlie Jones; and granddaughter, Gracie Jones.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Annie Jones of Fruitvale; three sons, James Jones and wife Chasity of Grand Saline, Donny Jones and wife Ashley of Grand Saline, and David Jones II of Edgewood; three daughters, Christy Earl and husband Jason of Fruitvale, Paula Jones of Fruitvale and Candy Jones of Fruitvale; four brothers, Michael Jones and wife Sabrina of Fruitvale; Joseph Jones of Lake Tawakoni, Landon Jones of Lake Palestine, and Vincent Jones of Fruitvale; two sisters, Shelly Jones of Lake Tawakoni and Crystal Ferguson of Lake Tawakoni; sister-in-law, Shirley Jones of Fruitvale; twenty nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family received friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
